Fact-Checking Policy

Every net worth figure on NetWorthCraft passes through a verification process before it reaches you. This page explains what we check, how we check it, and what happens when we get something wrong.

What we verify

Every money figure, salary, deal value, property price and date in our articles is traced to a named source. We check figures against primary reporting: business press, regulatory filings, published rich lists and verified interviews.

Our source hierarchy

Primary sources (filings, rich lists, on-the-record interviews) outrank everything. Established business press comes next. Aggregator sites are never used as sole sources for a figure.

The two-source rule

A figure stated with confidence has at least two independent sources behind it. Where sources disagree, we publish a range and name who says what. Where only one weak source exists, we label the claim or leave it out.

Dating our estimates

Every estimate carries a visible date. Net worth changes; an undated number is a stale number. We revisit high-traffic profiles when major new evidence appears.

Corrections

When an error is confirmed, we correct the article and note it per our Corrections Policy. Readers can flag issues at our Contact page.
